Helen Ann Noonan (nee English) of Hampton Bays, New York and Vero Beach, Florida; formerly of Southbury, Connecticut departed this earth for her eternal reward on August 27, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her adoring daughter, Margaret (Meg), she is survived by her loving husband, John, by daughter Bridget DeRiso and her husband, Will and grandchildren Dylan, Kelsey and Blake; by son, John and his wife Gretchen and grandson Tobias, and by son Brendan and his wife Katie, and grandchildren Devyn and Avery.
Also by her brothers; Frank, Jerry and Kevin and sisters MaryDee and Elizabeth, by their spouses and twenty four nieces and nephews.
Helen brought joy and laughter to everyone ... it was impossible not to love her. She was a wonderfully caring wife, mother and Nanny and her infectious smile and laughter along with her sparkling eyes created memories which will be forever cherished and can never be taken away.
There is a new glimmering diamond in the sky but, alas, one fewer on this earth. Words are inadequate to express how much she will be missed by all who knew her. It is so difficult to say goodbye.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in support of the Shrine of Blessed Basil Moreau (Le Mans, France), a site of prayer and pilgrimage dedicated to the founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross, an order of religious priests and brothers dear to Helen and to the Noonan family.
