I am so sorry to hear of Jamies passing. We are in complete shock and are truly sad. Please accept our condolences. He was a wonderful man and helped my husband with work when he needed it the most. He is truly missed. My husband and myself cleaned his camp, helped to rebuild it up, and worked on his home in CT.

With much love and our sincere condolences,
Steve and Betina

Jamie was, to us, a friend, brother, uncle to the boys, and someone we could always turn to in times of need. He was kind, funny and selfless and we loved him very much. He will be forever in our hearts.

Words cannot express the sadness that I felt when I learned of Jamie‘s passing. The twinkle in Jamie‘s eye on Thanksgiving when he conned me out of a few of my oatmeal cookies :-) will always serve as my last memory of him. He was such a wonderful person and his loss will be felt deeply by my family. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family and Olivia.

December 20, 2017 1:33 PM

I have worked with Jamie for over 6 years at UConn Health and so enjoyed our chats on the phone. He was always upbeat and enthusiastic. He just mentioned how excited he was about his new warehouse and with working with us at UConn Health. He said he "liked to give back" which seemed to be his nature about all things. On behalf of all of us who have worked with him at UConn Health over the years, we express our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

To Jamie's family and friends, I would like to express my deepest condolences for your loss. I did not know Jamie, but I have heard wonderful things about him. About three years ago, I purchased Jamie's former house in Southbury. I would like Jamie's family to know that his house has been a very special place to me. It was purchased during a very difficult time in my life, and with the help of my parents, who both passed shortly afterwards. I'd like to think that Jamie would be happy that his old house is filled with lots of light and love and has been a very special refuge for me. Prayers and blessings to you all.

Jamie provided me with a job working to renovate his house several summers ago when I had no other options. He has known me from birth and has always been such a kind and caring individual. A childhood memory that both my sister and I have of Jamie is the time he came over our house to visit and brought us these Lion King popsicles that were filled with gummy insects. My sister and I absolutely loved them and still talk about them to this day. Thats the kind of person Jamie was. Funny, Kind, and Caring.

I was Truely shocked to my core to hear the devastating news of Jamie's passing. We spent so much time and years together at work and outside of work. We told each other everything (almost everything). You were historically funny, genourous to a fault , a loyal friend everyone should have and will always be my bestie. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and loved ones. I feel bad for all the people that will never get the chance to know such an amazing man. You were taken from all of us way too early. Through these blurry tear filled eyes I'm sure you know I love you and will miss you immensely.
