Jennifer received her associate degree with Magna Cum Laude distinction from Lincoln College of New England.  Jenn joined Munson-Lovetere in 2018 transitioning from an intern to an apprentice and receiving her Funeral Director and Embalmers license in 2019.

Jennifer characterizes a good funeral director as someone who maintains deference for both the deceased and the bereaved; compassion and support are paramount while helping families receive closure from their loss.   Jennifer finds the application of this philosophy achievable by treating every family she encounters as if it were her own.  Additionally, as a Certified Crematory Operator Jennifer can be found aiding families with the loss of their furry members at Pet Passages in Southbury.

Jennifer lives in Watertown alongside her significant other Gregory, and their dog Banjo.  An ardent vegetarian for over eighteen years, she enjoys spending her time exercising compassion to animals by donating to animal sanctuaries and participating in animal welfare fundraisers.  If not assisting families, Jennifer can be found enjoying the outdoors in a local park.

Rachel Lenoir

Rachel Lenoir

Rachel graduated from Lincoln College of New England with honors in 2015 with an associate in applied sciences. She served her Apprenticeship in New Jersey where she received a great learning experience and education at a high-volume funeral home. She returned to Connecticut for licensure and was working as a director for many years prior to joining the Munson- Lovetere team.

Rachel specializes in the preparation and care of loved ones for visitation and uses her background in fine arts to assist her in cases that require restoration. Her goal is always to be able to offer the closure families need in situations where they may not otherwise have the opportunity to see their loved one for the final time.

Rachel’s passion for art began at a very young age, and tries to always be working on something creative. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Bear, gardening, painting portraits and baking.

Van Gogh

Van Gogh

Emotional Support Team

Van Gogh joined Munson Lovetere in April of 2020 during a pandemic and started by offering much needed love and laughter to the staff. He quite naturally moved into being a source of quiet comfort to our client families. Van spends most days at the office with Robyn but sometimes he needs a break too. His respite is spending time at home with his pack (Robyn, Peter, Chelsea, Gabby and Franklyn).
