Walter F. Hahn

Walter F. Hahn of Southbury, CT passed away Monday September 7, 2020. He was the husband of the late Irene I. Hahn. Mr. Hahn was born in Detwang, Germany the son of the late Johann and Anna (Gogelein) Hahn. He resided in Southbury for the last 20 years. Walter was a member of the Arion Singing Society in New Milford, CT and a member of the Congregational Church of New Fairfield. He was an accomplished carpenter working for Local Union 45 for over 40 years.  Walter enjoyed the outdoors, traveling to Germany, and touring the United States.  

Walter leaves a son Jeffrey W. Hahn and his wife Susan of New Milford, CT.  Three grandchildren Jeffrey W. Hahn Jr. and his wife Ami, Michael A. Hahn and his wife Christina, and Suzette R. Lemmond and her husband Shawn. Walter also leaves 5 great grandchildren: Ethan, Reagan, Emilia, Owen, and Natalie.

A funeral mass will take place September 19, 2020 2:00 P.M. at the Congregational Church of New Fairfield located, 20 Gillotti Rd, New Fairfield, CT 06812. A private service of Christian interment will take place immediately following the service. There will be a reception at Biscotti Restaurant on Cotton Tail Dr. New Fairfield, CT.
