Vincent McCauley, 80, of Southbury, CT, passed away on November 11, 2023. Born on October 31, 1943, in Bronx, New York, Vincent was the son of Vincent and Retta McCauley. After completing his education, he selflessly served his country as a member of the Navy. Following his honorable discharge, Vincent pursued a career as an NYC Iron Worker for Local 580.
Vincent's memory will forever be cherished by his beloved wife of 33 years, Carol McCauley, and their daughter, Tara McCauley. Vincent wholeheartedly treasured his family and friends and found joy in their presence. He was a compassionate and devoted husband and father, always striving to ensure their happiness and wellbeing.
In his leisure time, Vincent enjoyed the game of golf, finding solace and contentment on the greens. He also had an appreciation for indulging in a perfectly cooked steak, savoring each bite. Vincent was a sharp dresser and lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment and spreading joy to those around him.
Vincent will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his loved ones find comfort in the beautiful memories they shared with him.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Vincent McCauley will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to the nurses and support staff at River Glen Health Care Center for always going above and beyond with their love, compassion, and dedication.
