Sandra Lee Totoritis, 72, of Woodbury, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
Sandra was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on July 27, 1949. Daughter of the late Paul Joseph Totoritis (1984) and Joyce Charlotte Hainsworth (1990).
She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, such as a legal secretary and data entry clerk, but her favorite position was being a school bus driver and trainer during the 1990s.
Sandra loved her cat, Marbles, and collecting cat figurines. Sandra spent a lot of time crocheting and assembling cat puzzles. She also enjoyed bird watching, the sounds of nature, and being outdoors. Sandra loved flowers; one of her favorite hobbies was gardening.
Sandra also had a love of music. She loved everything from classical music to the Top 40; a few of her favorites were The Moody Blues, The Beach Boys, and The Doors. She was taught to play the accordion at a young age and continued playing till late in her life. Her most recent was with the Episcopal Church in Waterbury, where she played with other accordion players. In the 1980s, she sang with an acapella choir, Sweet Adelines.
She is the beloved mother of Thomas Voytek and his fiancée Samantha Glass. Laura Kovalsky and her husband Tim. And Lesa Valle and her husband Nicolas. Sandra was a grandmother to Christopher, Samantha, Julia, Amanda, Francisco, and Allanna. She also leaves behind her brother, Paul Totoritis, her sisters Jamie Howanec and Deborah Mager and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet the family and celebrate her life on Sunday, March 27th, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Munson Lovetere Funeral Home (2 School St, Woodbury, CT 06798). The release of Sandra's ashes will be private with the family at a later date.
