Ronald Cooper, his passing marked the end of an era for so many.
Southbury- Ronald J. Cooper, 81, of Southbury, passed away at home on Thursday August 11, 2022. He was the loving husband to Sharon (Lynn) Cooper for over 60 years.
Ronald was born on April 15, 1941 to the late Joseph and Sophie (Tetlak) Cooper. Ronald was a life-long and well-known resident of Southbury who frequented many local businesses . He worked at Federal Sand and Gravel before becoming a well loved maintenance foreman for Heritage Village, who had the dubious brag that he was never once late for work.
Ron had a passion for good food of all cultures, and had a keen hand for everything from saurkraut to pig roasts. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. His distinctive laugh will forever remain engraved in their memories.
Besides his wife Sharon, Ron is survived by his son, Ronald Cooper Jr., his daughter, Ann Cooper Madigosky and three grandchildren..
