Robert T. Pressimone (Bob), age 65 of Middletown, NY passed away on November 13, 2020. Born in Patterson, NJ on November 22, 1954, Bob was the son of the late Frank & Corrine Pressimone of Clifton, NJ. He attended Paul VI Regional H.S. in Clifton and went on to graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkhill, NY upon graduation, Bob fully joined his father’s business, Pressimone Opticians in Wayne, NJ after having worked there all throughout high school. Upon his father’s retirement, Bob took over ownership of the business.

Bob possessed a witty sense of humor, an unyielding love and compassion for animals. He had a love for cats so much that he volunteered his time to Pets Alive in Middletown, NY. His talent and passion for carpentry was unparalleled. Bob was an encyclopedia of all things Beatles! He had an affinity for trains. But he mostly loved spending time with his family and his son Robert Pressimone Jr. whom he was most proud of.

Bob is survived by his loving and dedicated son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Christina Pressimone of Southbury, CT; sister & brother-in-law Jill & Joe Glotzbier of Naples, FL; two nieces Jaclyn Glotzbier & Michel Williams. As well as his ex-wife Margaret Kistinger of Brewster, MA.  He was also predeceased by his sister Mary Ellen Williams. He will be greatly missed, but is held close in our hearts.  The family is asking in lieu of flowers for Robert Pressimone please consider donating to Pets Alive No-Kill Animal Rescue in Middletown, NY 845-386-9738 To leave an online condolence please visit
