Peter R. Doiron

Peter Raymond Doiron, age 70, of Bethlehem CT, passed away Monday April 5th 2021 at his home.  Peter was the youngest son of Raymond and Rose Doiron of Beacon Falls, CT.  He is survived by his wife, Carol, his sons Matthew (Brenda) of Warwick NY, and Benjamin of Bethlehem, and daughters Sarah (Erik) Tremblay, of Williamsburg, VA, and Laura (Parker) Campbell of Newport News, VA, his seven grandchildren:  Hannah, Andrew, Abigail, Ethan, Grace, Noah, and Henry, brother Arthur of Bantam, CT, and sister-in-law Faith Doiron of Ocala, FL. Peter graduated from Naugatuck High School and the University of Connecticut (UCONN) majoring in economics.  Peter retired from his lifelong career Banking in 2016 where he spent his last 18 years with Thomaston Savings Bank as Senior Vice President. Since then, he has been the Chief Financial Officer for Alliance All Trades and Thomaston Oil Company.  He was a current member of Walnut Hill Community Church's Waterbury Campus and prior to that was an active member of The Bible Church of Waterbury CT for 35 yrs.  He also was a former Board Member of St. Mary's Hospital Foundation.

Peter's passion was his family and golf.  Family vacations were always spent at the family home on Block Island, RI where all 4 children, spouses and 7 grandchildren gathered together for fun in the sun.  He also spent many weeks a year traveling to Williamsburg, VA where he visited with family and enjoyed playing golf twelve months a year. If you needed to find Peter and he wasn't at home or at work you would most likely find him on any hole at Watertown Golf Club where he was an active member.
