Nancy (Bosch) Galasso, 77, of Southbury, CT passed away on June 18, 2019 after a long illness. Nancy was born on December 23, 1941 in Hempstead, NY to Gladys and John Bosch. She grew up in East Quogue, NY and graduated from Westhampton Beach Senior High School. She attended Max M. Fisher College of Business before settling down to raise a family on Long Island, eventually moving to Connecticut. Nancy was a Legal Secretary and then an Administrative Assistant for both Golf Digest and the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce. An avid scrapbooker and photographer, Nancy loved chronicling her life, especially her cherished times with family. Frequent trips and activities with her children and grandchildren provided ample material for her creative outlets, including digital photo albums that will keep the many good memories alive for her loved ones.
Nancy, with her husband bill, enjoyed taking road trips to both appreciate the scenery and points of interest along the way, as well as to spend quality time visiting family and friends for major life events such as the birth of grandchildren, weddings, family reunions and even the occasional NASCAR race. She will be remembered for her unconditional love for and dedication to family and friends as well as her religious faith from which she drew great strength.
She is survived by her husband Bill, sister Ellen Bonnet (Jim), children; Susan Westine (Jeff), Wendy Baum (Margaret), David Baum (Ashley), stepsons Peter Galasso (Christian), Tom Galasso, and grandchildren; Alex, Morgan, Payton, Kyla, McKenna, Nicholas, Abby and Gracie, niece Michele Bonnet and nephew Derek Bonnet.
Calling hours will be Sunday June 23, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St., N. Southbury, Ct. A funeral mass will be on Monday June 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St., S. Southbury, Ct. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
