Southbury- Marilyn R. Havard, 90, of Heritage Village, Southbury passed away on Sunday October 2, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late James Havard.
Marilyn was born on April 25, 1932 to the late Michael and May ( Bornstein) Busic in New York City. She was a native “New Yorker”, enjoying all that Westchester and the city had to offer over the years. She attended the Wood Secretarial School and later worked at Texaco, BBDO (the advertising agency where she met her husband) and Pace University. The Havards settled in Ossining, NY where they raised their three sons.
Marilyn is survived by her sons Christopher (Lois) and Edward (Rita), and daughter-in-law Judy and six grandchildren: Taylor and Cole Havard, Liam Havard and John, Samuel and Henry Havard. Besides her husband who passed in 1982, she was also preceded in death by her son Michael.
