Loving Wife and Mother
SOUTHBURY- Marcia (Sable) Davison, 84, passed after a brief illness at VITAS hospice at St. Mary’s Hospital on Thursday March 25, 2021. She was the wife of W. Richard Davison.
Marcia was born on November 3, 1936 to the late Joseph Edward and Agnes Mary (Richmond) Sable. She married her husband of 62 years in Stratford. They raised their family in South Windsor. Marcia loved being an elementary school teacher at Philip R. Smith Elementary School in South Windsor where she was extremely proud of her outstanding success in reading achievement by her students through the application of advanced teaching methods. After retiring, she enjoyed spending her time reading, writing poetry, performing in theater works, and traveling. She will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to know and love her while residing both in California as well as Southbury.
Besides her husband, Richard, Marcia leaves behind a daughter, Paige Davison of Litchfield, CT, a son, Randall Davison of Taipei City, Taiwan, a brother, Dr. J. Alan Sable of San Francisco, grandchildren, Ross Boehme of Brooklyn, NY, Ian Boehme of Portland, OR, and a great-granddaughter, Harper Boehme.
Munson- Lovetere is taking care of arrangements for Marcia and services will be held privately at a later date.
