M.K. Philip Kharma Obituary

M.K. Philip (“Toffy”) Kharma of Woodbury, CT passed away after a long illness on December 27, 2020.  Born July 17, 1970 in Torrance, CA the son of the late Dr. K.M. (“Kal”)Kharma and Alexandria Jean (“Palmer”) Kharma.  Philip was a graduate of the Taft School and Bucknell University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. 

His first position was with CorCystems in Ridgefield.  He eventually went on to work for 454 Life Sciences and ROCHE in Branford.  He enjoyed computer games and military history.  He also enjoyed bicycling and, like his father, enjoyed following soccer, cycling and Formula I car racing.  He loved animals, especially his cat, “Tank”. Philip was a quiet individual but never forgot family and friends.  He is survived by his mother, sister Leslie of Los Angeles, brother Kenneth and his wife Andrea and dear niece Faye, also of Los Angeles.
