“Thy Will Be Done”
Southbury- Lorraine (Paganini) Falcone, 81, peacefully passed away after a brief illness at Yale New Haven Hospital on Saturday, March 27, 2021. As a devoted wife, she was married to Anthony Falcone for 59 ½ years. She was born on July 24, 1939 to the late Harold and Mary Paganini and grew up in Upper Manhattan, NYC.
Tony and Lorraine raised their three children in Monroe, Ct for almost 50 years. Lorraine “Nana” thoroughly enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Summers were spent with friends and family at Peach Lake, North Salem, N Y.
Winters were spent traveling to Myrtle Beach with her sister Marion (Edward) Lynch. Nana enjoyed trips throughout the country with occasional stops at various casinos, which brought her great joy and laughter. She loved and became an accomplished shopper. Her hobbies included dancing, walking, golfing and tennis. If you knew Lorraine you would know that 4:30-5:00 was here favorite time of day.
Lorraine is survived by her sister, Marion (Edward) Lynch of Raleigh, NC. Her three children: Douglas and wife Susan, Kevin and wife Kristen, Joanne and husband Marc Eanniello & Eight Grandchildren –Michael (Caitlin), Jenny, Samantha, Stephen, Christopher, Bobby, Anthony and Alexandra. She was thrilled with the birth of her 1st great grandchild Landon this past February. Aunt Lorraine is also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
May God accept my wife and our mother into heaven with open arms. Service for immediate family only will take place at Munson-Lovetere , Woodbury, CT on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Plans for a Celebration of Life will take place on a future date to be announced on this website.
