Kurt Marut Obituary

Kurt Marut, 31, of Redding, passed away October 26, 2023. He was born June 26, 1992 in Stoneham, MA to Andy Marut and Beth Marut.

Kurt graduated from Wilton High School and UCONN with a degree in Economics. He was an outstanding athlete, playing baseball and pitching in both High School and for UCONN. Kurt had a great interest in learning and was curious, not only in growing his career but also in important moments in history and current events. He was currently pursuing a career in the financial services industry.

Kurt loved the outdoors, fishing, skiing, playing softball with the Golden Oldies, the beach, movies, animals, cooking, and spending time with his many friends. Summer vacations at "Camp Marut" were some of his fondest memories.

More than anything else, Kurt loved his family. He found the greatest joy when surrounded by family. Holidays with his cousins were filled with laughter and friendly competition. Kurt was extremely close with his brothers, Matt, and Ryan. They had a bond that went more than skin deep, and they will forever miss Kurts presence. He was loyal and selfless in his dedication to friends and family.
