Kenneth Rowe Obituary

Kenneth L. Rowe, 85, passed away in his home on Tuesday, November 6th 2018.  He was the husband of Patricia Rowe.

Kenneth was born December 7 1932, in Brooklyn New York, the son of the late Thomas and Mildred Rowe.  He served his country with pride and honor in the U.S. Army and was a Military Police Corporal during the Korean War.

He married Patricia on May 4 1963 and initially resided in Jackson Heights NY.  Then moved to Bellerose NY later to raise their three sons.  Ken worked at the Automobile Club of New York for 41 years and moved to Southbury after retiring.  He greatly enjoyed the many years he spent in retirement here.

Ken loved horse racing and was an avid fan of his favorite sports teams the NY Giants, Mets and Rangers.  But most of all he loved his family – his wife Patricia was the love of his life and he was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather as well.

Besides his wife, he leaves his sons Kenneth, Brian and Paul; daughters-in-law Ellen, Linda and Anita and his grandchildren Evan, Ryan, Morgan, Tommy, Jessica and Jessica.

A funeral service will take place on Sunday November 11, 2018, 4PM at St. James Lutheran Church, 111 Peter Rd., Southbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice of Danbury, CT.  To leave an online condolence, visit www.munsonloveterefuneralhome.com
