Kathleen M. Snyder

Woodbury- Kathleen M. Snyder, 57, died October 17, 2023 after a short fight with breast cancer. She was born on January 25, 1966, the daughter of Gerald M. and Maureen B. (Moore) McWeeny.

She graduated from Pomperaug High School, Southbury, Connecticut and Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts. Kathleen was an extraordinarily talented project manager at many companies, the last several years were with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and Cigna Healthcare. She won numerous local and national awards for her outstanding work.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Bridget E. Snyder, Woodbury; her mother Maureen McWeeny, Roxbury; her sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Jay Protacio, Litchfield. She was predeceased by her father, Gerald McWeeny. Kathleen loved to visit her sister and her husband in Maui prior to them moving to Litchfield and reading with her daughter. She leaves her beloved 4-legged companion, Violet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Monday, October 23, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Washington Depot, 34 Green hill Road, Wahington, CT. Burial will be at the New North Cemetery, 87 Washington Ave, Woodbury. In Lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306.
