Joan Tedesco

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Catherine Tedesco (Hogan), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of the community on September 4, 2023.

Joan was born on August 4, 1932, in Bronx, NY, to her loving parents, Daniel Hogan and Gertrude Colby. She grew up in the Parkchester section of Bronx.

Throughout her life, Joan dedicated herself to her work in the telephone industry, serving diligently in the Repair Bureau. Her commitment and unwavering dedication were recognized and admired by colleagues and friends alike.

Joan's greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind her beloved son, Daniel Tedesco, and his wife Carol, who adored her dearly. She also leaves behind her daughter, Kathleen Giorno-Hicock, and her husband Bill. Joan's love and guidance will forever be cherished by her grandchildren Kaitlyn Tedesco, Christopher Giorno, Daniel Giorno, and Matthew Giorno. She was also blessed to welcome into her heart the love of her great-grandchildren, Jack and Will Giorno.

Joan was predeceased by her loving husband Louis Tedesco.

Joan's strength, warmth, and unwavering love will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and the importance of family.
