The soul of Jaime Joe Pierson crossed over peacefully on Sept 15th, 2020. He was the son of the late Alan E. and Jean L. Pierson of Bethlehem, Ct. He was predeceased by his brother David A. Pierson and leaves behind his living sisters Lauren Gallagher (John) of New Milford, Bethel Prescott (Steve) of Port Hadlock, WA, Mary Rife (Tom) of Bakersfield, CA and Sarah Pierson of Dudley, MA.
Jaime enjoyed watching his favorite television programs and movies. He particularly liked "The Walking Dead" "Tom and Jerry" cartoons and "Sponge Bob Square Pants". He liked to go to baseball games and listen to live music. However, his favorite activity of all was girl watching. He loved looking at pretty women.
Jaime will be missed by his DSO and Sage Way group home family in Torrington where he resided for the last several years. In particular they will miss his puckish sense of humor, deep chuckle and wide grin. Jaime made quite a hobby of trying to get his staff's goat by doing little annoying acts. He would often choose a particularly noisy activity and activate it over and over. He would also unscrew a bolt or nut from his wheel chair and fling it. If his tactics hit home he would then let loose with that chuckle and grin.
Jamie's family would like to express their heartfelt greatfulness to the staff at Sage Way for all of the loving care they gave him for many years. Thank you all very much indeed. You are all rock stars.
