Harry "Marty" Wilson Obituary

Bethlehem- Harry “Marty” Martin Wilson, 74, passed away on October 12, 2021 at Apple Rehab in Watertown.

He was the loving husband to Linda (Ouellette) Wilson of  37 years.

Marty was born August 15, 1947 to Harry B. and Margaret (Olsen) Wilson. He attended local schools and worked very hard as an excavator, operating heavy machinery. Marty was a very generous man. He would give anyone in need a hand and he knew how to do most all things; he was a great guy in that way. Although he was married before, he found love again with Linda. They would go on camping trips in their new camper with their dog and just enjoy each others company and take in the scenery of their quiet destination. He loved the outdoors and could be found enjoying a moment of peace by the stream behind his home. Marty will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Besides his wife, Marty leaves behind his step-daughters, Kimberly Khare of Willow Springs, NC and Susanne Englehardt of Griswald, CT and his daughters, Bonnie Calhoun of Torrington, CT, Darcey Mensel of Terryville, CT, and Kelly Kennedy of Bethlehem, CT, along with there respective husbands. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 4 girls and 2 boys.

The services for Marty will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Marty’s funeral arrangements are in the care of Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N.
