Gregory John Nichols, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2021. He was the husband of Jenny (Frampton) Nichols. Greg was born in Waterbury on October 26, 1961 to the late Franklyn and Gladys (Brittain) Nichols. After graduating from Nonnewaug High School, Greg attended the University of Connecticut, earning his Bachelor of Science degree.

Greg is survived by his wife of 35 years, 2 daughters, Amanda (Rob Matrow) and Brittany (Tom Emmons), his brother David and several nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents, sister, Beverly Devine and his brother-in-law, Jim Devine.

Greg was devoted his life to his family and faith. After building the family home, Greg spent his time raising his children, mentoring FIRST Robotics Team Beta, and working on projects at home. He was a gifted and enthusiastic model builder, winning many national awards and honors for his scratch built masterpieces. Greg loved to follow the New York Giants, Mets, UCONN basketball and all forms of auto racing. The family loved all things Disney and traveling together. Greg was an avid photographer.
