Elsie Mott Obituary

Southbury-

Elsie E. Mott, 86, of Southbury, passed peacefully at home on May 22, 2023. She was the wife of David W. Mott. She was the love of his life, always seen holding hands.

Elsie was born on September 12, 1936 in New Milford, CT, the daughter to the late Charles and Dorothy (Stevens) Easton. Elsie attended local schools and spent 31 years as a dedicated administrative employee of Southern New England Telephone Company. After retirement, David and Elsie spent their time as inn keepers at various bed and breakfasts on Cape Cod. They developed lifelong friendships and many wonderful memories during their times there. They also spent a great deal of time travelling, making their way to visit all 50 states and some European countries like Ireland and England.

Elsie was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was giving to others, especially her grandchildren. She always had a box of candy or other gift for anyone she visited. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Besides her dear husband David, Elsie leaves her daughter, Elizabeth Faustino and her husband Edward, her grandson, Christopher (Bekah), granddaughter, Taylor (Sam), and her brother Edward Easton. Elsie was predeceased by her other siblings, Dolores E. Kwasnik and Stuart Easton.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm at New North Cemetery in Woodbury. To leave a memory or message of support for Elsie’s family, please visit www.munsonloveterefuneralhome.com.
