Dorothy Kowalski Obituary

Southbury-Dorothy A.Kowalski passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 to eternal rest.

Born on April 19, 1939 in Yonkers New York to Eric and Helen (Boudreau) Lawton.

As a long time employee of AT&T, she was selected to work the New York World Fair in 1963/1964 and enjoyed interacting with people. She also had the position of Planning Board Secretary for the Town of Southeast, New York.

Dorothy was an avid reader, as well as a long time choir member since eighth grade. She was a member of the Mid/South Catholic Church in Southbury. Dorothy and John lived in Brewster, NY, Southeast, NY, Cape Cod and finally in Heritage Village. Her wishes were to be cremated with a private ceremony in Cape Cod at the convenience of the family.

She leaves behind her loving husband John, her two daughters, Kim Bailey and Jan Mustin, her siblings, Helen and Eric, and her 2 grandchildren, Sarah and Zachary Bailey to cherish her memory.
