Dolores Hall Obituary

Dolores A. Hall, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday May 19, 2023 at Elim Park in Cheshire, CT where she had lived for the past 5 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Carlton Hall.

Dolores was born on January 20, 1932, the daughter of the late Natale (Charles) and Inez (Ruby) Bambace of Harrison, NY. She graduated from White Plains H.S. in NY and went on to attend SUNY Cortland, where she met and married the love of her life. They resided in Bedford Village, NY until retirement when they moved to Somers, NY and then to Middlebury, CT. In her youth, she enjoyed skating and ballet, as well as spending time with her collie, Bambi. Dolores also enjoyed skiing, golfing, and playing cards with both her family and friends. But most of all, Dolores loved sharing her many wonderful recipes and her love for family holidays. Although Dolores regarded her family as her greatest joy, her warmth and caring, and enthusiasm for life spilled out to all she met. Everyone who walked in her front door was instantly welcomed and made to feel like family. She will truly be missed.

Dolores is survived by her six children- her son Thomas Hall and wife Donna of Troy, NY; her son Gregory Hall and wife Gail of Southington, CT; her son Richard Hall and wife Heidi of Manakin Sabot, VA; her son Peter Hall and wife Barbara of Groton, CT; her daughter Susan (Hall) Cussen and husband Thomas of Harbeson, DE; her daughter Patricia (Hall) Soracin and husband Mark of Venice, FL. She also leaves behind her five granddaughters Emily (Hall) Moon and husband Tom, Brittany (Hall) Roberson and husband Will, Stacey (Arnold) Howard and husband Curtis, Kendall Soracin and fiancé Logan Quackenbush, and Sydney Soracin; her four grandsons Michael Hall and wife Danielle, Christopher Hall and wife Kelley, Derek Cussen and partner Lisa Scheinman, and Sean Cussen; as well as her great-grandchildren Alex Hall, Lailah and Kai Roberson, Riker and Axton Howard, and Logan Amburgey.

Besides her husband, Dolores was also predeceased by her older sister Louise Pastore.
