Obituary
David E. Schlump of Heritage Village, Southbury passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 just 2 weeks after his 69th birthday. He was born in Bridgeport on August 16, 1954 to Suzanne LaCour Schlump and the late Raymond J. Schlump.
David spent most of his working career as a mechanical engineer at Wentworth Labs in Brookfield, Ct. Some of Dave’s favorite things were the NY Yankees, Nascar races and his dog Sammy.
Besides his mother, David sadly leaves behind his daughter Tanya Hicks, her husband Kevin and granddaughter Avery of Golden, Col. His sister Karen Hughes, her husband Chris and their daughter Gretchen, his Aunts Nancy LaCour Gordon, and Gloria LaCour Lankowski, Uncle Warren Patrick LaCour, and several cousins.
