Christopher O'Neill Obituary

Bethlehem- Christopher W. O’Neill, 48, of Lakes Lane passed away April 2, 2022 at Candlewood Valley Health Center in New Milford. Chris was born June 10, 1973 in Waterbury to Michael and Marjorie Theresa (Bennett) O’Neill of Bethlehem. Chris enjoyed old Pontiacs and was most recently restoring a 1968 Firebird convertible. He passionately handled the public relations department and the website for the Nutmeg Chapter P.O.C.I. Chris served 2 years in the United States Navy in Japan, stationed at Yokosuka on USS Blue Ridge.

Besides his parents he is survived by his loving family- which includes his partner, Terri Bradshaw, his brother Jon and wife, Mal, their children Jon II and Willy; His uncles, Thomas O’Neill and wife, Rhonda, Richard O’Neill and wife, Carol, Clark Bennett and wife, Kathy; his aunts, Eileen and Patricia O’Neill; his cousins, Jennifer, Peter, Christina, Rachel, and Anthony.

He was predeceased by his uncles Tim Bennett, grandparents Dwight and Marjorie Bennett, and Betty O’Neill.

His family would like to thank Becton Dickinson and his employer H.C.L. for all their support throughout Chris’s illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Haven VA Hospital 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516-2770 or the Nutmeg Chapter Pontiac Club, 10 Church Hill Road Washington, CT 06794.

A graveside service with full military honors will take place Saturday, April 9th 2022 at 10 am at Bethlehem Cemetery, 152 Main St. South, Bethlehem, CT 06751.
