Catherine "Kay" Keenan Obituary

Catherine “Kay” Keenan passed away quietly on August 14, 2022 at the age of 83.  She was born in New York City where she was the only daughter of the late Frank and Madeline Bailey.  She is pre-deceased by her husband Patrick Keenan and her daughter Kelly Patti.  Kay is survived by her son Brent Germain, his wife Laura Germain, son in law Daniel Patti and 4 grandchildren.  Kay was a long-time resident of New Fairfield and Southbury and worked many years at Boehringer Ingelheim and the March of Dimes.  The 3 things that Kay enjoyed most were ballroom dancing with the Fred Astaire Team, spending time with her family, and dining out with the many friends that she was so fortunate to have met over the years.  She loved to talk about the old days in New York City and was particularly excited for her oldest granddaughter who has recently moved there.  She also loved shows on Broadway, the Radio City Christmas show, and St Patrick’s Cathedral when it was decorated for Christmas.
