Obituary

Southbury, CT- Carole Ann (Keating) Jameson, 90, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022 at the Lutheran Home after a period of declining health.

Carole was born on September 3, 1932 to the late Roland and Helen (Childs) Keating of Bridgeport. She was the middle child of three girls. After graduating from Warren Harding High School, Carole met and married Joseph F. Jameson. At the time of Joe’s death, they had celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Carole was employed over the years in Southbury at the Union Trust Bank, Dr. Falcetti’s dental practice, as a dedicated Poll Worker at town elections, assisted the VFW Auxiliary and was a local Justice of the Peace. Carole supported Joe when he was elected Town Selectman in the 1970’s.

Carole and Joe lived on Lake Zoar and enjoyed all that lake life had to offer. This included gathering with other steamboat enthusiasts, traveling to steamboat meets up and down the East coast. Their beloved ‘Housatonic Queen’ was a regular sight on Lake Zoar.

Carole was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many.  She is survived by her son, Todd P. Jameson, two grandsons, Glenn & Devon Jameson, her sister Mari Keating Kish and her “daughter”  Betsy Cruice & family as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Her presence will leave a big void in the greater Southbury community.
