Carlos Aírto Sepúlveda, 48, of Seymour, CT passed away peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 with family by his side. Carlos was born in Middletown, CT on June 4, 1972 to Dr. Martín-J. and Maria L. Sepúlveda.
Carlos graduated summa cum laude from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a combined Bachelor of Professional Studies and a Master of Science in Health Science/Acupuncture in 2014. He was a Licensed and Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. Carlos was a talented and incredibly effective practitioner at Niantic Acupuncture & Family Wellness, LLC. He loved his work, and found great joy in working with his patients.
Carlos was a devoted husband and best friend to his wife, Amanda Sepúlveda, and the proud and dedicated father of Maya, Benjamín, and Samuel Sepúlveda. He was an avid soccer player, coached several local soccer teams for children and adolescents, loved to play guitar, practice kung fu and fish with his children. He lived a life for his family and for his community, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Carlos was predeceased by his grandmothers, Carmen and Georgina, his aunt Nixida, uncle Harry, and his uncle Carlos. He is survived by his parents, his sisters Dr. Marisol E. Sepúlveda of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Elisa A. Sepúlveda of Austin, Texas. and wife Amanda and children Maya, Benjamín, and Samuel Sepúlveda of Seymour, Connecticut.
There will be calling hours the morning of July 27 from 8:30 to 10:30 am at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St. Woodbury, CT.
