Brian P. Krauss, Sr.

Brian Patrick Krauss, 37, survived both his parents who raised him until their passing.  For a time, his mother, Margaret May, and for 59 years, his father, H. Ronald Krauss, cared for Brian.  Brian’s partner in love of 5 years, Crystal Parker and their daughter Sophia Marie, 4, lived with him at the time of his passing, and shared great love together.  His son, Brian Krauss, Jr., 13, also survives his loving father and grieves alongside his mother, Sarra Wabrek.  Brian is also survived by his siblings (and their children) brother, Scott Krauss (Melanie), and sisters, Joy Geraci (Gianna; husband Matt) and Bridget Krauss (Savannah and Sumner Fish and Maylan and McKenna Hardisty).  

Brian passed away peacefully in the afternoon of June, 23, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT.  Brian was born October 11, 1983 in NJ. Brian grew up in Woodbury, CT, graduating from Nonnewaug High School in 2002.  Brian soon joined the Marines, serving a short time.  He later graduated from Porter & Chester Institute in Automotive Mechanics.  Brian worked with many companies and most recently was part of the Skyline Recovery Service family where he is greatly missed by both current and previous co-workers.  He had many friends through life and the family is comforted and supported by their outreach and sharing stories of Brian.  He enjoyed spending his days working on his own cars and that of family and friends at work and beyond.  Brian loved being a father and was always happy helping his family move or complete projects.  He improved everyone’s lives with his love and support, always helping others, even through his passing, donating his life to lengthen others.

Services will be held at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St, Woodbury on Saturday, July 3, 2021.  Friends and family can share remembrances and pay respects from 9:00 until 11:00 am and any are welcome to participate in the celebration of Brian’s life from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
