Anthony D'Amato Obituary

Anthony R. D’Amato, 82, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 26, 2018. Born October 7, 1936 in Patterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Anthony and Catherine (Haidukiewich) D’Amato and husband of loving wife, Joan (Huber) D’Amato.  He was a graduate of Patterson Technical High School, served in the US Navy from 1955-1957, and was co-owner of Electromation Inc., in Seymour, CT prior to his retirement.

Anthony enjoyed trips to Maine and spending time outdoors, but most importantly making memories with his family and friends. He had a life-long interest in model trains and vintage cars, which has tremendously inspired his great-grandson.

In addition to his wife of sixty years, he will be greatly missed by his son Scott, and wife Terri, son Jeffrey, granddaughter Casandra and great-grandson Miles Anthony, sister-in-law Carol Smeal, several cousins, nephews, a niece and many friends.
