Annmarie Krings, 39 years young, was known for her caring soul and loving heart. Annie left us on the morning of Monday, September 19, 2022, at Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus. She was born on December 16, 1982, in Pennsylvania to Kelly A. Krings and graduated from Masuk High School in 2000.
Annie went on to work at Southbury Food Mart for 5 years before becoming family staff at Heritage Hotel where she worked for over 17 years.
She was a loyal sister to Sarah Krings, Patrick Kiley, and Ricky Krings. She was loved by friends who became family over the years, including Olivia Yetter, Christina Cole, and many others.
Annmarie is survived by many aunts and uncles, including Coleen and Roger Bennett, Kilian and Anne Krings, Rosann and Jeff Hunt, and Sean and Jill Krings. She is also survived by many cousins, including Matthew Hunt, Jessica Hunt, Amy Ascatigno, Ashlyn Bennett, Rebecca Franklin, Emily Paige Krings, Olivia Krings, Colin Krings, and Joshua Krings. She is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Ann M. Krings, mother, Kelly A. Krings, and her fur baby, Amy Cat.
Some of Annie’s favorite pastimes include walking Silver Sands Beach in Milford, advocating for those who suffer from depression, and raising awareness and funds for cancer.
Annmarie was taken far too soon, but her smile and strong personality will always be fondly remembered by those who loved her. Her legacy will forever be defined by her kindness and shining heart.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North Southbury, A service for Annmarie will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 10:00 at Munson-Lovetere in Southbury. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Southbury.
