SOUTHBURY- Annette Stutsky, 95, passed away on April 6, 2021. Annette was the daughter of Rose and Sam Berger and sister to Irving.
Annette was the loving wife of Jack Stutsky for 61 years, who will be with her now in heaven. They married in Brooklyn in 1947 and lived there until 1985 when they moved to their dream home in Del Ray Beach, FL. After Dad’s passing in 2008, Mom moved here to Connecticut where she spent the next 13 years. She was the mother of two, Steven and Faith and mother-in law to Sheila. Annette was the grandmother of three, Daniel, Russell, and Lisa. Their spouses being Martha, Kristie, and Nick, all who she loved dearly. She was also the great-grandmother of five: Dylan, Jack, Amelia, Henry, and Jonathan, as well as step- great grandmother to Kayli. Annette had a large family with many relatives and friends too many to mention here.
Annette was one of the hardest working women you could ever have met. She spent nearly 30 years as a waitress in many restaurants in Brooklyn, New York and the borsht belt, also known as the Catskills in New York. For those of you who knew mom, you surely remember her as ‘hot stuff’. You knew where you stood with her, no buts about it. For those who knew her very well, you understood that she was a kind and gentle soul under a tough exterior. Annette will be sorely missed by all.
A private graveside funeral will be held Thursday, April 8th at Wellwood Cemetery, West Babylon, NY at 11 AM.
