MIDDLEBURY- Yvonne (Nettleton) Dwyer, 58, of Middlebury, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston, MA. She was the devoted wife of Richard W. Dwyer.

Mrs. Dwyer was born December 8, 1948 in Milford, CT, daughter of Robert K. and the late Louise (Sharp) Nettleton. She graduated from Woodbury High School, Class of 1966, and stayed active with her classmates throughout the years as the key organizer of class reunions. She was a communicant of St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury.

Mrs. Dwyer graduated with a degree in Accounting from Mattatuck Community College, where she was active in the choral group, and worked for a number of area companies, including New England Financial. She also had a flair for the creative arts and design. Her beautiful trompe l'oeil artwork adorned her home. She was a cofounder of Glorious Foods, a creative gourmet and catering company in Middlebury, and an avid gardener and decorator. She took great pleasure in sharing her many talents at frequent family gatherings.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Bryan R. Dwyer of Wolcott, four brothers, Bruce Nettleton of Woodbury, Ronald Nettleton of Southbury, Mark Nettleton of Richmond, NH and Douglas Nettleton of West Kingston, RI, two sisters, Janice Creighton of Southbury and Shelly Doney of Brantingham, NY, and a one-year old grandson, Thomas R. Dwyer, who provided so much joy for her in the last year.

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17 at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Church, Middlebury.

Visitation: Friends may pay their respects at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St., on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
