Mr. William M. Nolan, 69, of Morris died Thursday August 18, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia (Tyler) Nolan.
Mr. Nolan was born August 2, 1942 in New Haven a son of the late Leonard T. and Florence (Nygren) Nolan. He resided in Cheshire and Woodbury before moving to Morris. Mr. Nolan earned a PhD in educational research and loved teaching. He taught earth science for 34 years at Cheshire High School. He was a soccer coach and a member of the Litchfield Hill Driving Club.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son W. Mathias Nolan IV and his fiancé©e Rebecca of Stafford Springs, a daughter Beth Lovallo and her husband Dan of Thomaston, and 2 grandchildren, Hailey and Josh Lovallo.
