William M. Murphy, 70, of Oakville, passed away January 8, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital. William was born in Waterbury on  April 18, 1947, son of the late Patrick and Mary E. (Conway) Murphy. He was the husband of Karen (Wolfson) Murphy.

William worked at ALJIM/Schaffer Foods and Napoli Foods until his retirement.

William was an Army Veteran.

Besides his wife William leaves his daughter Kim Phillips and her husband Jason.

His Grandchildren Brandon and Lindsay Phillips. His sisters Patrica (George) Collins and MaryEllen (John) Griffin, and many nieces and nephews. William is predeceased by his brothers Charles and Joseph Murphy, and his niece Maura Griffin.

There will be a celebration of Bill's life at a furture date.
