William J. Joseph
Mr. William Joseph, 72, of Southbury, Connecticut, died Wednesday evening, January 11th, at Waterbury Hospital with his family at his side. He moved with his wife and children to Southbury in 1978 and had been a resident there for 34 years.
Bill was born February 5th, 1939 in Long Island, New York. Son of the late Lawrence and Jessie Joseph, he attended local schools, graduated from Island Trees High School, and earned an Associate's degree from Nassau Community College. After graduation from college, Bill served in the United States Marine Corps., where he served aboard the USS Topeka earning the rank of Corporal. He was honorably discharged on February 12th, 1962. After leaving military service, Bill was employed by IBM as a Sales Marketing Representative for 25 years in New York City. Most recently, Bill has been employed by Color Graphix in Southbury.
In addition to his wife, Sheila, of 46 years, Bill is survived by three sons; Craig M. Joseph of Manayunk, PA, Brian J. Joseph of Doylestown, PA, James M. Joseph of Hartford, CT, and a granddaughter Olivia Anne Joseph. Additionally, Bill is survived by his brother, Larry, and his wife, Vonda, of Millsboro, Delaware and three sisters, also of Millsboro, Delaware. He is also predeceased by three infant children, Kathleen, Michael, and William.
Bill will long be remembered for his loyal and loving devotion to his wife and children, his family and friends, and his generous contributions to the community.

Funeral: Sacred Heart Church
Services: A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 17th, at 11: 00 am at the Sacred Heart Church in Southbury. A private burial service will be held in Berks County Pennsylvania.
Visitation: Friends may call at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson Lovetere, 235 Main St. North, from 9: 30-10: 30 am Tuesday morning.
