Bethlehem - William (Bill) Ives, 78 died Thursday March 2, 2017 at his home unexpectedly.

Bill was born February 3 1939 in Hartford Ct., the son of the late Milton and Kathryn Ives. Bill worked for the Town of Woodbury for 30 yrs, was a devoted volunteer firefighter for 30 Yrs. also.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, played softball and horseshoes. He also enjoyed his Draft horses Jack and Sam. He was a member of the NWC Draft horse Association. He is survived by his 3 children. His son Thomas and his wife Michele of Bethlehem, His daughter Kristen of Oakville, and his daughter Allison Kozlosky and her husband Anthony of Wolcott. Along with with his sister Carol Bertrand of Florida,his brother Milton and his wife Tomi of Florida and his sister Barbara Braun of Alabama. Along with 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held at Munson-Lovetere Funeral home in Woodbury on Saturday March 11th at 2 pm. Afterwards there will be a gathering at the Woodbury Fire house, all are welcome to join us and celebrate Bill's life.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodbury Fire Department and / or the St. Jude's Children's hospital.
