IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William J.
Carta
June 13, 1946 – April 30, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of William J. Carta announces his passing, on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at the age of 64 years.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 21 years, Joan Sesko Carta and his children, Adam, Nate and Emily, by his mother Santina (Sandy Lastrina) Carta, by his sister Janet and brother-in law Roger Everin, brother-in-law Stephen Sesko and sister-in-law Diane Sesko. Bill will also be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, Jack, Owen and Max. Bill was predeceased by his father Columbus (C.J.) Carta. He leaves behind numerous extended family and friends.
Bill loved his family above all else. He was passionate about fishing and sports and he loved gardening and travel. He enjoyed vacationing with his family on Cape Cod when not working as a corporate tax director and private tax preparer. He earned a Masters of Taxation from the University of Hartford, served his country in the United States Army and spent many years volunteering his time coaching youth athletics. Bill was a good hearted man and touched so many lives with his kindness, caring and uncanny sense of humor.
