OXFORD- William "Bill" C. Wilson, Jr., of Oxford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, NYC.
Bill was born August 7, 1963 in Norwalk, CT and grew up in Redding, where he graduated from the Joel Barlow High School making everlasting friendships. Bill worked in Real Estate and in the construction industry for over 20 years.
Those who knew Bill, knew him to be kind, gentle and a witty person, who you could always rely on for a joke and a smile. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help. His favorite past times were motor cross racing where he won many championships and trophies, scuba diving and spending time relaxing at home with friends and family. He was a member of the American Class Racing Association, New England Trail Rider Association as well as various other motorcycle groups.
Bill is survived by his loving parents, William and Sigrid Wilson of Woodbury formerly of Redding, CT his brother Scott and his wife Mary and niece, Allison all of Beacon Falls, his uncle Leland Wilson and his wife Erika of Wilton, Uncle Phil Koda and wife Marilyn, Uncle George Flynn and his late Aunt Barbara Flynn, and many cousins. Bill also leaves his best friend and devoted fiancé©e, Maura Jean Brock and buddy Jack of Oxford.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury
Services: A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.Burial will be in Fairfield Memorial Park, Stamford, CT.
Visitation: Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
