Mr. William F. Alexson, 86, of Bethlehem died Tuesday June 30th at his home. He was the husband of Bertha (Harper) Alexson. Mr. Alexson was born August 2, 1922 in Bethlehem, in the same house that he passed away in, a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Mazulaitis) Alexson. A lifelong resident of Bethlehem, he spent his entire life working as a dairy farmer until finally retiring at the age of 86. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, polka and square dancing and driving long distances. He was an avid storyteller and loved John Deer Tractors.
In addition to his beloved wife of 63 years, he is survived by four sons, William Alexson Jr. of Torrington, Anthony Alexson of New Preston, Thomas Alexson of Oakville and Stephan Alexson of Bethlehem, a daughter Anne Ibbotson and her husband Ellis of Burlington, eight grandchildren, Celina Alexson, Michael Ibbotson, Jason Alexson, Christin Alexson, Seana Alexson, Ryan Alexson, Carrie Alexson and Thomas Alexson Jr. "TJ", four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 9th at 11: 00am at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family invites all to join them for a reception to be held at the Painted Pony Restaurant, 74 Main St. South, Bethlehem, on Thursday July 9th beginning at 1: 00pm.
Visitation: Friends may call on Wednesday July 8th from 7 - 9pm at the Funeral Home.
