Warren E. Brown, 86, of Heritage Crest died Friday June 28, 2013 in his home. He was the husband of Mary A. (Stinson) Brown. Mr. Brown was born July 5, 1926 in NYC son of the late Wilbert and Lillian (Card) Brown. Following high school graduation in Ardsley, NY he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War Two. Mr. Brown owned a restaurant in Westchester County, NY for 25 years and was later associated with Wachovia Bank until his retirement. He became a resident of Heritage Crest, Southbury in 1985 where he served on the Board Directors of Heritage Crest for a number of years. Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves three daughters Debra Frederick and her husband Alan of Southbury, CT Susan Ritter and her husband Glenn of Hopewell Junction, NY and Sharon Luedke and her husband Michael of North Granby, Ct, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 more great grandchildren expected this year, and a brother Russell E. Brown survives him . He was predeceased by a granddaughter and a great grandson.
