Virginia P. (Vicino) of Woodbury died Sunday July 29, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Eugene "Gene" Crawford.

Mrs. Crawford was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Prosper and Mary (Skidd) Vicino. She has resided in Woodbury for 20 years, previously living in Hollywood, MD. She grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Conard High School and from Immaculata College in Washington, DC with a degree in Fine Arts. She received her Bachelor's degree of Fine Arts from Western Connecticut State College. Mrs. Crawford was the owner of Woodbury Antique and Fine Arts. She was a member of the Woodbury Antique Dealer Association and a member of the Word of Life Family Church of Middlebury. She enjoyed gardening, art collecting and was very active in the church and in her home and was very dedicated to her family.

Besides her husband, she leaves three brothers, Charles Vicino and his wife Jane of Marlborough, CT, David Vicino of Middletown, Raymond Vicino and his wife Carole of Farmington, two sisters, MaryAnn Belanger and her husband Jim of New Milford and Michela Adams Reno, NV and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step mother Rita Vicino.

Services: A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3rd at the Word of Life Family Church, 393 Tucker Hill Rd. Middlebury at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 2, 2012 from 5 - 8pm at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St.
