Violet Leidel of Southbury, CT, age 91, passed away Wednesday, June 24 at Pomperaug Woods in Southbury, CT. Violet was born on March 6, 1924 in Astoria, New York. She was the daughter of the late Knute and Vera (Anderson) Holmgren. She leaves behind her husband Victor Leidel and a daughter Linda Leidel. She is predeceased by her son Eric Leidel and a sister Frances Gooding, of Morriston, Florida. Mrs. Leidel lived in Woodbury, CT for 57 years before moving to Pomperaug Woods.
