Violet C. Junas died at her home on Tuesday September 15, 2015 surrounded by her husband and family. She was the daughter of Thomas and Katherine Wiehl of Maspeth New York. Violet was born July 11th, 1924. She was most passionate about gardening and was a lifetime member of the Iris Society. She attended Pratt Institute, New York University, and Parsons School of Design. She graduated from Bridgeport University where she studied Child Psychology. She leaves behind her husband, John Junas of Southbury, four children, six grandchildren, and a great grand daughter. She is greatly missed by her family.
