Obituary

It is with great sadness the family of Victoria Louise Perrotta of Southbury announces

her untimely death on October 18, 2026, following a brief battle with cancer. Vicki

passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. She was a beloved wife,

mother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed.

Vicki was born in 1957 in The Bronx, NY to the late Kurt and Betty Borries. Ever the

Bronx girl, she never fully lost her Bronx accent, even after living in Connecticut for

almost 40 years. Keeping true to her German heritage, Vicki was extremely organized

and excelled in maintaining files, family finances and sock drawers. She worked as an

office manager, bookkeeper and in front desk administration at various medical offices

in New York and Connecticut, most recently at East Hill Senior Living Hospitality. Vicki

was a wonderful cook, who never met a recipe she couldn’t tweak to make just a little bit

better.

Vicki is survived by her best friend and husband of 40 years Thomas (Tom, Tommy)

Perrotta daughter, Emily Perrotta of Southbury, daughter Taylor Araujo (Lucas) of

Naugatuck and sister Carol Milazzo of Waxhaw, NC along with many nieces, nephews

and dear friends who provided support during her fight.

There will be no funeral services. A celebration of Vicki’s life will take place soon. In lieu

of flowers, please consider donations to Project Purple (https://www.projectpurple.org),

Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN, https://pancan.org), Regional Hospice

(https://regionalhospicect.org) or any worthy charity in the fight against cancer.
