Our dear mother, Victoria Tocci Abel, passed away peacefully in Southbury, CT on April 4, 2023. She was 94 years old. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her.

Victoria is survived by her son, Leonard Maceli, and her three daughters, Michele Barnes, Geraldine Ross, Sandy Romano, as well as several grandchildren.

Victoria was a graduate of Cathedral High in Manhattan, NY. She enjoyed baking, cooking, knitting and listening to music. She contributed to her communities in many ways. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader in Wilton, in addition to organizing church bazaars at both St. Mary's Church in Norwalk and Our Lady of Fatima in Wilton. She owned The Vault Jewelry Store in Woodbury where many of her customers became her good friends. During her retirement, she continued volunteering at the Abbey of Regina Laudis Gift Shop in Bethlehem and partook in a fundraiser for the Heart Association at Waterbury Hospital. Victoria was a devout and prayerful Catholic.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, Missouri or Better Days Feline Rescue, PO Box 116, Roxbury CT 06783 in memory of her beloved cat, Itsy Bitsy.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00AM in the chapel. A Christian Burial Mass will

begin at 11:00AM, followed by a burial at Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.
