Valerie J. Galvin, 62, of Lighthouse Rd Woodbury, CT passed away early Monday morning on December 6, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital.

She was born on January 27, 1959 to Charles F. and Clare R. (Tuttle) Stockwell Jr. in Waterbury, CT. She is predeceased by her father Charles 'Chick' F. Stockwell Jr. and mother Clare R. (Tuttle) Stockwell, brother Gary Stockwell, brother Robert H. Stockwell Sr. and sister-in-law Jean O'Grady Stockwell. Valerie is survived by her loving husband William J. Galvin Sr., her 3 sons Arcade J. Gelinas III, William J. Galvin Jr., James E. Galvin, her bonus daughters Carly Aravena and Kaylyn Casivant, also her son's dog Gunner. She is also survived by her siblings, Donna Lindburg (Ray), Charles 'Chicky' Stockwell III (Peggy), Nancy Freeman (Tom), Cheryl Stockwell Obar, and Thomas Stockwell (Diane) along with many nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.

Valerie enjoyed spending time with her family, going on concert trips with her husband, listening to music; especially Travis Tritt, cooking, and going to church on Sundays.
