Obituary

Valerie Crunden formally of Fairfield, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in the Vitas Unit. Valerie was born February 12th, 1949 daughter of the late Frederick and Ruth Crunden.
Miss Crunden is survived by two sisters, Elaine (Monroe) Kelemencky of Woodbury, Vera (Nicholas) Hadad of Morris and several nieces and nephews, Lynn Patrick, Lori Seeley, Lisa Schrimmer, Peter Kelemecky, Ray Kelemencky, David Kelemenky, Karen Hadad Meyers, Christopher Hadad, Ellen Hadad-Blazys and many grand nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Raymond Crunden.
Valerie grew up in Fairfield, going to school in the special education programs, At the age of 24, Valerie resided at the S.T.S. She enjoyed making friends, music and especially dancing. Her next residence was at the Meriline Group Home in Waterbury. They were very happy years, participating in a work program and the many activities offered to her. In the last few years she has resided at the Wolcott View Manor. The family appreciates the loving care given to Valerie, especially at Meriline Group Home and Wolcott View Manor.

Funeral: United Church of Christ

Services: A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday April 2, 2016 at 10: 30 A.M. at the United Church of Christ, Southbury.
