Valeria L. Stevens passed peacefully on May 23, 2023 at the Lutheran Home in Southbury. Born May 2, 1940 the daughter of Ruth and Clifford Gracey, she spent most of her life in Michigan. Valeria was the wife of J. James Stevens for almost 44 years when he passed in 2004. They raised their family in Michigan. She moved to Connecticut to be closer to her daughter Laura, when her health started to decline.

Valeria leaves her son Michael Stevens, his wife Deborah, her daughter Karen Parker, her husband Gordon, her daughter Laura Lehay, her husband Anthony and 6 grandchildren to cherish her memory. She also leaves her brother Ernie Gracey and his wife Donna and 15 nieces and nephews.

Valeria will be laid to rest next to her husband at Christian Memorial Garden in Rochester Hills, Michigan. All services are private.
